"Nourish" : Body & Bath Box
When we nourish our bodies, we nourish our souls. This was the inspiration for our self care package. Making moments to take care of yourself is not a treat, it is a necessity. We curated these bath and care treasures to creating an environment of caring for your whole self.
In this collection you’ll find the most amazing lavender soap made with honey both from Clearview Orchards in Watsonville, California. This darling organic apple orchard has one of the best U-pick and farmstand on the peninsula, in our opinion. Family-owned, you will find owners Mel and Carol there every weekend during picking season. We also source all of our organic English lavender from them!
We have hand-blended this lavender with organic Chamomile and Dead Seas Salts to create a bath sachet you can enjoy one bath at a time.
Related to Mel and Carol is MJ, who works with lavender and other amazing essential oils to make our favorite, smoothest lotion sticks. (We chose the unscented lotion because we wanted you to be able to enjoy each product together without having the scents compete for attention.) Made with Clearview Orchard's bees wax, every stick is crafted by hand by MJ herself.
And last but certainly not least is the Calming Salve from Blossom’s Farm in Aromas, made by the farm’s owner Carin. There are many special things about Blossom’s Farm, but most notably they are a Biodynamic Farm**. We love this extra step Carin and her team take at the farm....nurturing true sustainability, peace, and calm -- and a sense of community that nourishes the soul.
**Biodynamic farming is a holistic, sustainable agricultural system treating the farm as a living organism, emphasizing biodiversity, closed-loop systems, and cosmic rhythms. It goes beyond "organic" by incorporating unique soil and fertalization preparations, and aligning planting/harvesting with lunar and planetary cycles to enhance soil health, plant vitality, and ecological balance. It uses compost, crop rotation, and natural pest control, avoiding synthetic inputs, to create resilient, self-sustaining farms that regenerate the land.
